Μετά από χρόνια αναμονής, υπομονής και επιμονής, η AOPA Hellas σύναψε σύμβαση με τη SWISSPORT για έκπτωση Ground Handling ειδικά για τη Λήμνο LGLM, ένα μαγευτικό νησί μας που τόσα χρόνια, οι εκεί χρεώσεις ήταν αποτρεπτικές για μία επίσκεψη της Γενικής Αεροπορίας.

Ο Γενικός Γραμματέας του Υπουργείου Μεταφορών, Γιάννης Ξιφαράς, ζήτησε συνάντηση με τον Πρόεδρο της AOPA Hellas, Κυπριανό Μπίρη, για τα προβλήματα και τα θέματα που έχει αναδείξει η AOPA Hellas σχετικά με τη Γενική Αεροπορία και τον Αεροπορικό Τουρισμό. Ο κ. Ξιφαράς ήταν γνώστης των προβλημάτων της ΓΑ και άκουσε προσεκτικά τις προτάσεις του κ. Μπίρη, συμφωνώντας ότι τα αιτήματα της AOPA Hellas είναι λογικά. Ο Γενικός Γραμματέας δεσμεύτηκε να μιλήσει με τον Διοικητή της ΥΠΑ για το πιλοτικό πρόγραμμα λειτουργίας αεροδρομίων «εκτός ωραρίου» και συμφώνησε να κρατήσει ανοιχτούς διαύλους επικοινωνίας με την AOPA Hellas.
- Έρχονται οι ψηφιακές κάρτες της AOPA Hellas
Επιταχύνονται οι διαδικασίες για τη μετάβαση στην ψηφιακή μορφή καρτών, οι οποίες θα είναι ευκολότερες στη χρήση και πιο φιλικές στο περιβάλλον. Η AOPA Hellas έχει έρθει ήδη σε επαφή με τους Handlers των αεροδρομίων, οι οποίοι επιβεβαιώνουν πως θα δέχονται τις νέες κάρτες.
- Προχωρά η πιλοτική λειτουργία αεροδρομίων «εκτός ωραρίου»
Προχωρεί η πιλοτική εφαρμογή της λειτουργίας αεροδρομίων εκτός ωραρίου. Η AOPA Hellas και η Πανελλήνια Ένωση Πιλότων βρίσκονται σε διαρκή επαφή με το Υπουργείο Υποδομών και Μεταφορών, το Υπουργείο Τουρισμού, την Υπηρεσία Πολιτικής Αεροπορίας και τους φορείς Τοπικής Αυτοδιοίκησης, ώστε μέσα στο επόμενο διάστημα να ξεκινήσουν δοκιμαστικές πτήσεις της Γενικής Αεροπορίας σε συγκεκριμένα αεροδρόμια εκτός του δηλωμένου ωραρίου λειτουργίας τους.
- Διαδικτυακή συνάντηση με τον Διοικητή της ΥΠΑ

Στο επίκεντρο βρέθηκαν τα προβλήματα του αεροδρομίου Μεγάρων, οι εξετάσεις ΣΠΟΑ και γενικότερα τα ζητήματα που απασχολούν τη Γενική Αεροπορία.

Following years of waiting and persistence, AOPA Hellas managed one more Discount Agreement for Ground Handling services. The Agreement concerns Limnos LGLM airport, a pearl true island destination in the northeast Aegean.

- Meeting between the President of AOPA Hellas and the Secretary General of the Greek Ministry of Transport

The Secretary General of the Ministry of Transport, Giannis Xifaras, requested a meeting with the President of AOPA Hellas, Kyprianos Biris, on the problems and issues raised by AOPA Hellas regarding General Aviation and Aviation Tourism. Mr. Xifaras was aware of the problems of GA and listened carefully to the proposals of Mr. Biris, agreeing that the requests of AOPA Hellas are reasonable. The Secretary General committed to talk to the Commander of the HCAA about the pilot program of airports operating hours “dusk to dawn” and agreed to keep an open line with AOPA Hellas.
- The digital cards of AOPA Hellas are coming
The process for the transition to the digital card format is accelerated, in order to make it easier to use and more environmentally friendly. AOPA Hellas has already contacted Handlers who confirm that the will accept the new cards.
- Greek airports to accept GA Flights from dusk to dawn
Test implementation for using Greek airports outside working hours is on the way. AOPA Hellas and Hellenic Pilots Association are in contact with the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, the Ministry of Tourism, the Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority and the Local Authorities, and in the near future, General Aviation test flights are expected in certain airports beyond working hours.
