"The righteous will flourish like a palm tree, they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon; planted in the house of the Lord, they will flourish in the courts of our God." Psalms 92:12-13
As I think about this verse and being "planted", I think about the meaning in so many ways. Each of these ladies has been planted by the Lord here at Sanctified Hope to restart their lives. We, as a ministry, have been planted in this amazing community that supports us whole-heartedly. And each of us individually have the choice to be planted in the house of the Lord, so that we may FLOURISH as this scripture says!
We kicked off May with a wonderful outdoor worship arts session with OPEN SKY ARTS COLLECTIVE. Open Sky is a missional arts organization comprised of professional artists who use dance as a way to share the Kingdom of God. They came out to bless us with a time of worship dance pieces and then led our ladies in some movement activation exercises for our May Sunday Fun Day. It was SUCH A BLESSING!! We welcomed Tanya to our Sanctified Hope family in May. Her favorite color is purple, she loves peach tea and is an avid lover of animals. Tanya is very energetic and organized. Welcome home, Tanya!
Two of our ladies, Renee and Lisa, completed and graduated the Jobs for Life class at the Center of Hope. Jobs for Life not only teaches job readiness, such as resume preparation and interview skills, they also focus on being confident in the person God created you to be. We can always tell a big difference in the ladies at the end of the course compared to the ladies that began. Way to go, Renee and Lisa!
Do you have a used car for sale? We are looking to buy cars for our ladies as they begin working and are able to take that next step towards their future. If you have a nice used car you are ready to part with that is in great working condition and in the $3000-$4500 range, please let us know!

The Kitchen in our main home is in need of a makeover and repairs. We decided that while doing this, we are going to give our ladies a family-style kitchen instead of the double kitchen they have had since our home is an opened-up duplex. Making this change in our hope will not only complete the necessary repairs, but improve the overall functionality of the space and open up the home to bring unity to it as well.

Greetings and Blessings to you! May was quite a month here at Sanctified Hope! It is always a beautiful when God brings a new lady home here to our family and plants her here. As I pondered the phrase we so often hear "Grow where you are planted", I thought about these ladies and how we see them do that so often here in this community. I see so many of them choose to restart their lives in Weatherford because of the love and warmth they receive from all of you here. God plants them here, and they grow as a result of all of the "watering" they receive from the support and prayers from you.
Thank you so much for all that you do. Whether it be supporting financially, prayerfully, in a volunteer role - we could not do this without you. God uses each and EVERY one of you to GROW these ladies and help them to FLOURISH into what He has intended for them to be ALL ALONG!!
