Recent Foundation Grants
The Warren County Community Foundation helped partially fund Robotics Camp this year. There were 51 students who enjoyed the 4-day camp held at the Learning Center. The Foundation went back on the last day of camp to award a grant for $10,000 to fully fund the camp for 2023 and 2024! This grant was made possible through a grant the Foundation received. Warren County received a $50,000 WHIN Capstone Grant and will be using the remaining $40,000 for Quality of Life/Quality of Place grants.

A grant was awarded to the Warren County 4-H for $952.92 for 9 Square in the Air. This is a fun and popular game for kids and adults alike. The game will be used at 4-H camps and the Junior Leaders did a program with the summer parks program kids. Churches, groups, and local organizations can borrow the game from the Extension Office for your event or activity.

Mac Van was awarded a grant for $2,040.29. The Alfred & Dorothy Ringer Memorial Fund for Mac Van and Ray & Hazel Barwick Fund combined to create this grant.
Warren County Youth Council Receives SIA Foundation Grant

Incoming senior at Seeger High School, Macy Smith, applied for and won a grant for the Warren County Youth Council from the SIA Foundation. The Warren County Youth Council is a philanthropic minded group of students in Grades 4-12. We stopped meeting in person during COVID but will start back this coming school year. Macy's grant request was up against 375 other grant requests, and only 20 were awarded. This is a huge accomplishment. The SIA Foundation in their 25th year, awarded $148,208.88 this grant cycle Her grant request for $8,661.55 will be used to purchase outdoor music instruments for Fleming Woods County Park. Great Job, Macy!!
