The CDH Dissertation Prize deadline has been extended until June 15.

Dear Faculty:

We invite you to nominate your former students for the 2021 Digital Humanities Dissertation Prize, which recognizes exceptional doctoral work with a digital humanities component by recipients of Princeton PhDs. Applicants may also self-nominate, as long as they secure a letter of recommendation from a Princeton faculty member.

Nominees for the 2021 prize must have defended their dissertation (FPO) between January 1, 2021 and December 31, 2021. The prize carries an award of $2,000.

For consideration, nominees must submit the following materials to cdh-info@princeton.edu by June 15 at 11:59 EDT:

  1. Dissertation abstract
  2. Completed dissertation
  3. Letter of recommendation from a faculty member (typically a dissertation adviser), which can arrive after the June 15 deadline and need not be specific to the CDH Dissertation Prize

Nominees should send the first two items as PDF attachments. Faculty should send letters of recommendation to the same address (cdh-info@princeton.edu) as PDF attachments or as text in the email itself. Please use the subject line “Submission for CDH Dissertation Prize.”

Please email cdh-info@princeton.edu with any questions.

Best,

CDH Staff
