ADSA MEMBERSHIP SURVEY

We would love you to complete our membership survey.  This gives us feedback on how we are doing – and helps to form our strategic direction for our 3-year plan. ADSA Survey 2022.  This takes no more than 10 minutes to complete.  It is only for families in Auckland who have a person with Down syndrome in their household.  We only need one person in the family to complete it.

Success in School – REGISTRATIONS OPEN

The registrations are rolling in.  This is a fantastic course for teachers, learning support staff, SENCOS, Outreach teachers, parents – and anyone who works with children who learn differently.   A downloadable flyer, timetable, and registration information can be found at this link (Success in School)

Little Ones Coffee Group – THIS WEEK

We are hosting out 0-4’s coffee group this Thursday, at The Parenting Place, Greenlane.  10am until 11.30am.  We greatly look forward to seeing you.  At this stage, we are still requiring that adults are fully vaccinated, and masked (except when eating).

NZDSA and Care Matters invite parents and whānau to register for Enabling Good Lives online –           Self Directed Learning.

Spaces are limited so register early so that you don’t miss the opportunity to explore, learn and connect with others as you discover and personalise What Enabling Good Lives (EGL) means for you and your family.  This course is in 5 parts, with self-directed modules which are done in your own time.  Each of the 5 modules will be followed by a zoom session (3 time slots available) – 2 weeks apart (1st Aug, 15th Aug, 4th Sept, 19th Sept, 3rd Oct) .  This is a wonderful opportunity to really make things work for you, and learn from others.
