Farm Tours & Regenerative Conference

The Prairie South Holistic Management club is hosting a 3-day event, June 24 - 26, that will focus on Holistic Management and Regenerative Agriculture. Guest speakers will share their years of industry & personal experience, and our farm tours will showcase practical applications of things like planned grazing, bale grazing, inter-cropping, cover crops, multi-species forage, soil health, water infiltration and the relationships between the farm and family, community and business.

Schedule:

Friday (at McCord hall)
4:00 pm – Welcome & Registration
5:30 pm – Supper (BBQ with all the fixin’s)
7:00 pm – Speaker Bluesette Campbell, Holistic Management Canada
8:00 pm – Networking & Cash Bar

Saturday (Tours)
7:30 am – Coffee’s on! & Breakfast
8:00 am – Speaker Avery Shepherd, Consultant @ Imperial Seeds
8:45 am – Board buses for tours
10:00 am – Tour with Adrien & Cheryl Lanoie (bale grazing, planned grazing, multi-species foraging)
12:30 pm – Bagged lunch on the bus
1:45 pm – Tour with Calvin & Marla Gavelin (inter-cropping, cover crops, planned grazing, plot tours)
4:15 pm – Return to McCord
4:30 pm – Speaker Saskatchewan Association of Watersheds (SAW)
5:30 pm – Supper
6:30 pm – Networking & cash bar
7:15 pm – Keynote Speaker Bluesette Campbell, Holistic Management Canada
8:30 pm – Reflections from the Prairie South Holistic Management group
9:00 pm – Networking & cash bar

Sunday (at McCord hall)

9:00 am – speakers, Q&A, wrap up discussion from the weekend
10:30 am – Brunch
11:30 am – Speaker Bluesette Campbell, Holistic Management Canada

Full conference: $199/person (includes meals and bus tours)
Saturday only: $125/person (includes meals and bus tours)
Kids under 12: Free (includes Kids Program!)
