The Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce (BACC) hosted its annual Business Expo presented by FNBC on Wednesday, June 8, 2022. The expo theme was "Who's Who" and celebrated the "best of" what the Batesville area businesses have to offer.

"We had a great time at this year's Business Expo," said Evie Clauss, BACC Hospitality Coordinator. "Without our sponsors and vendors, this event would not be successful. Over a thousand visitors attended the expo to sample local cuisine, browse new furniture, learn about current job openings, check out the newest line of tractors and UTVs, and discover what our community businesses offer."

Sonic Drive-In won the designation of "Best Booth." Their booth theme was "Class Favorite 2022," and they gave away samples from their menu during the Taste of the Chamber.

Batesville School District's Pioneer Joe beat Peco Foods' Chicken after an intense tie-breaking dance-off for the title of "Best Dancer." Other participants in the Mascot Dance-Off included: First Community Bank's Seymore the Squirrel, Sonic's Cherry Limeade and Tater Tot, Citizens Bank's CeeBee the Money Bee, Hammy from Hampton by Hilton, and an Ice Cream Cone from Sweet Tooth Frozen Delights.

FNBC presented the 2022 Business Expo with additional support from Bad Boy Mowers, The City of Batesville, Merchants and Planters Bank, Peco Foods, Rawk Imprinting, Suddenlink, the UPS Store, and White River Health System.
