We would love to sit down with a few IFC members to talk more in depth about recent survey results and how to make the IFC the best it can be! We are offering each participant a $10 IFC credit for one hour of your time.

We would love to sit down with a few producers to talk about how the IFC can make things run more smoothly, plan trainings & supports and learn more about how to make the IFC the best it can be overall!

We are offering a $40 cash stipend for one hour of your time. All the focus groups are on Zoom. There are two groups specifically for meat & poultry however, if a time just doesn’t fit your schedule go ahead and choose the time that works for you as we will be having general discussions in all of the groups.

The cart closes at 11:59 PM on Sunday, June 12th.

For satellite sites distribution is Thursday, June 16th + Ames and Albia on Friday, June 17th.

For Franklin Plaza distribution is Friday, June 17th from 12 PM - 7 PM and Saturday, June 18th from 11 AM - 2 PM.

HOME DELIVERY

Special home deliveries go out on Thursdays of Distribution week between 11 am and 9 pm. If you will not be home during the delivery time frame please provide coolers for products.

We want to support our members. If you need assistance in paying your home delivery fee please email orders@iowafood.coop.

If you are outside the immediate metro area, please reply to this email to confirm availability.

FREE HOME DELIVERY FOR EBT MEMBERS IN DSM AREA--We are offering EBT members the option of having their orders delivered free; if outside the immediate Des Moines area, please reply to this email to confirm availability.

PICK-UP TIME CHANGE FOR ALBIA: Pick up time has indefinitely changed to FRIDAYS from 5-6 PM. Pick-up location remains at the Fiber Art Shoppe: 5 Benton Ave East, Albia, IA 52531.

CURBSIDE PICK-UP AVAILABLE AT FRANKLIN: A team member will compile your order and deliver to your vehicle. A Sign-Up Genius link will be emailed at the close of the shopping cart.

FOOD PANTRY + EBT FUND--Please support our food pantry donations and EBT funding during this time with a donation via the cart or via the Iowa Food Foundation.

New Software: Quick Tips

No need to open a basket or cart--simply start shopping and add products to your cart.
Mobile + tablet friendly
Your pick-up location carries over from the previous cycle--change the location at any time while the shopping window is open (change by clicking the cart icon, then use the drop-down menu to change location)
An improved product search allows you to quickly find your favorite items and discover new ones!
New product ‘varieties’ allow you to choose flavors and types quickly and easily (like sliced bread or style of coffee grind).
Want to request a customized item? Such as ‘no cinnamon’ in your apple pie? Simply leave a ‘Shopper Note’ from your cart. If the producer is not able to accommodate your request, they can ‘deny’ the note and you can either remove the item from your cart or accept it, uncustomized.
On-site purchasing at Franklin: Your on-site purchases will now be associated with your member account so you’ll be able to view past purchases.
