Walking Groups
Morning Walking Group with the Aurora Rec Dept. on Tuesdays and Thursday is on hold until October.
I know another group walks in the evenings in Aurora but I do not know the frequency or. time.
AHS Class of 1981
The Aurora High School Class of 1981 will have a class reunion cookout July 16 at the Aurora Community Center. Please contact Denise Toler at the town library for more information.
Paws and Love Fundraiser
Over 200 cats have been spayed/neutered in our area. Many thanks to the two organizations in our area for their assitance in reaching this milestone- the Beaufort County Humane Society and Paws and Love. They have been instrumental in funding this endeavor. In order to continue these programs we need to do fundraising projects. We have an upcoming yard sale on Saturday, July 16th at Frank's Pizza in Washington from 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM.
We are in need of donations for this fundraiser. We are looking for gently used household items, toys, tools, books, you get the picture. No clothing please. If you have any items you would like to donate, please respond to this email and we'll arrange pick up in this area.
