Tim Valtwies, Partner, ESV Business advice and accounting

Tim has worked with some of Australia’s largest entrepreneurial companies, and has audited and advised public, inbound multinational, family-owned and not for profit entities. He is an expert at providing audit, assurance, business performance and financial due diligence services to entrepreneurial and high-growth companies, and at helping businesses prepare for investment and succession. Tim can help you manage financial affairs, business structures, financial reporting obligations and assurance needs. His 15 years with EY and 10 at ESV gives him a thorough understanding of the challenges clients face. He takes the time to build strong relationships and develop a complete overview of your business risks and opportunities. Tim’s industry expertise includes travel, property, funds management, RTO’s and the not-for-profit sector. He is a Member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and a Registered Company Auditor in Australia and New Zealand.

Travas Burns, Partner, ESV Business advice and accounting

Travas is an audit partner with over 17 years’ experience in Audit and Business Services. He predominantly focuses on external auditing and assurance advisory services and is also an expert in fraud related matters including fraud detection and prevention. Travas is easy to work with, always available and prompt to respond. He identifies issues upfront and explains technical detail in ‘layman’s’ terms. He provides high quality audit services with a ‘full service’ approach. Travas works with a diverse range of clients including listed entities, managed investments schemes, small and large private groups, foreign owned subsidiaries and start-ups, which operate across industries such as manufacturing, property, technology, training, health, engineering, managed investment schemes and agriculture. His knowledge of fraud prevention and detection provides an essential viewpoint on key fraud risk areas when tailoring our audit approach. He is a Member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, a Registered Company Auditor and a Certified Fraud Examiner.

James Raiti, Client Manager, ESV Business advice and accounting

James has over ten years’ experience in the accounting industry and has been responsible for providing taxation compliance and advisory services to clients across all industries. James is also experienced in providing outsourced CFO type services to his clients, including review and analysis of financial data, reporting to management and unitholders and implementing sound financial reporting processes. Many of James’ clients have complex group structures and require a trusted advisor who will assist with both ongoing compliance and complex taxation advice.
