The Last Week of School at the ECC!
Dear Early Childhood Center Families,
We are so very proud of your children and the hard work, resilience, and persistence they have shown this school year. It has been an honor to partner with you during such an important year in their development. They have played, learned, built friendships, and are ready for the next steps in their education. We have enjoyed getting to know each of them as individuals and watching them grow together. Thank you for the incredible work you do as parents to guide them and provide them with all your love and care!
We would like to thank our wonderful staff for the work they have done this year. These are challenging and uncertain times but our staff has collaborated as a school family to put children first and created a nurturing and rich preschool experience for our students. We wish our retirees- Dr. Nancy Runton, Atsedewoyen Ayele, Mercedita Danielsen, and Maria Giacomangeli all the best as they start new chapters in their lives. Between them they have contributed countless hours to caring for, loving, and teaching children and we are so grateful for their careers! We wish the best of luck to VPI teachers Kelcey McDevitt and Ruth Conner and instructional assistant Daritza Perla as they pursue new positions in the field of education. We also bid goodbye to monitors Helen Mohammed and Jun June. All of our departing staff have contributed so much to our school family and we wish them well!
We wish you all a wonderful and safe summer and all the best as you move forward on your parenting journey! To those of you who will be returning next year-we can't wait to see you in August!
Warmly,
Ms. Heidi

Farm Friends Came to Visit!
We started the week with our annual petting zoo celebration. Farm animals from Heavenly Heart Farm came to the ECC and the kids were able to interact with all sorts of farm animals. Bunnies, chickens, guinea pigs, goats, miniature horses, cows, and sheep were all present at the event.
The kids absolutely loved it!
