Due to storm damage and power outage, the SKC Campus is closed through the end of the week. Crews are onsite to remove debris, downed trees and fences, and patch up other building damage. However, Evergy is working to restore power to many homes and businesses in the Kansas City Area and we don’t know how quickly power will resume. An email will be sent Saturday announcing Sunday Worship status for SKC.
The Food Pantry is the only program that will be in operation tomorrow and we are grateful that needed items will be available for families. We have visited with our neighbors on Wornall and everyone is thankful that the church and their homes weathered the storm and clean up is under way. Please keep area residents in your prayers as they work through the challenges of the aftermath of a major storm.
