Farm News

The first week of sales went really well.  Other than the heavy rain that hit about 4:30! WE will continue with most of the same produce as last week.  We are low on lettuce mix this week as the field planting is just getting ready.  Try out some of the other greens this week.  Also, we'll be out of basil for a couple weeks until our next hydroponic table comes in.  We will open 3- 6pm.  The online store is up and running as well.  You can pre-order online by Thursday night  and we will have a packed box with your order ready for pickup.

For sales at the table, we prefer credit card but will have the cash register available for cash or checks.  We are not requiring masks but please ask that customers be considerate, allow 6 feet of space between, and continue to not touch produce on the tables.  Please park on the grass on either side of the driveway.  If you need assistance or require handicap parking, please drive to the top of hill and park next to the barn.

The big hoophouse is reskinned and planted to our last groups of cucumbers and tomatoes.  It's so nice to have this space back and protected for the heat loving crops.  The rain has been amazing but continues to make things a little challenging.  Temperatures are slowly warming and everything is growing!

This week we're working on getting the winter squash transplanted.  They will be in our south field along with the pumpkins.  Garrett has been getting lots of time with our new crew explaining planting and layout for these valuable fall crops.  I also just learned the city of Pullman will be repaving Terre View Road starting in about a week.  Expect construction and delays to get to the farm on Fridays.
