June News From Cozy

It's a Summer Sale!

While it's not quite time for our annual Anniversary Sale, the sale shelf needs some extra room for new additions, making it the right moment for a Summer Project Sale! We kitted up many of our sale yarns with patterns to match, just in time for your travels or staycations. The kit prices are at least half of the original prices, and all bagged up and ready to go. Additionally, all back issues of Pom Pom magazine are marked down to $5, and other assorted sale shelf yarns are now 50% off; if you don't find the perfect kit, there is inspiration to create your own! The Summer Project Sale is on while supplies last, all month long.

Dates To Note:

The Slow Yarn Crawl takes place May 27 to September 5 this year. Purchase a passport for $10 and visit local yarn shops from Eugene to Bellingham, picking up free patterns and entering the raffle for some great yarn-y prizes. We still have a couple of passports left!

World Wide Knit In Public Day is Saturday, June 11. It will be a very rainy weekend, so that halted our outdoor plans to stage a meetup, BUT if you would like to join other knitters and crocheters at the 5th Street Market Alley on Saturday at 4:15 pm, you can join Cozy staff at the tables for some public stitchery. Whatever your plans, it's a good day to bring your WIPs with you and show off your skills!

On Saturday, June 25, Cozy will have a short day, and be open only 10 am-2 pm. We'll be back to regular hours all other weekends.

New Yarns

Blu Fiber Company: We just received a beautiful, glowing (literally!) box of Cashmerino Sock dyed by Joshua of Blu Fiber in Portland, Oregon. The 80/20 Merino and Cashmere blend is so ridiculously soft. Joshua will be joining us un July for a trunk show, so stay tuned!

Spree and Modern Cotton: Two more summer yarns from Berroco! Spree is a wool-cotton blend with a speckled, colorful paint job, and Modern Cotton is a drapey, worsted-weight blend of Pima Cotton and Modal Rayon that would be beautiful in summer tops or shawls.
