Inclusive & Intergenerational
Melbourne, Brisbane, Gold Coast & Adelaide
We are proud to produce a regular, safe and inclusive community space. LGBTIQ+ elders and their allies are invited to this free monthly social event, to learn new dances, enjoy delicious catering and drinks, and interact with other LGBTIQ+ elders and allies.

This year, we extend the invitation across rainbow communities to join us on the dance floor. All ages, all experiences welcome.

COVID SAFETY
The safety and health of our communities is incredibly important. We know that returning to holding live events in person carries risks especially for elders, and that everyone's ability to get out and about is different. We have a COVID Safe Plan that will be in place for all of our events. All our staff are vaccinated and we encourage all attendees to be vaccinated and wear masks where distancing isn’t possible. We will have masks and sanitiser freely available at all Dance Clubs and there is plenty of space and ventilation.

If you have any questions about our COVID Safe Plan or would like to chat about how we can enable your attendance at our events, please email HERE

Congress
International Premiere (UK)
Congress by All The Queens Men. Image by Bryony Jackson
Saturday 29 October / Salisbury Cathedral

Congress is a citizens’ assembly; a series of first speeches from voices often unheard; personal visions for our collective future.

Taking the form of a ritualised performance, intersected with community and cultural dance, Congress unashamedly encourages citizens to agitate for change and transformation.

Congress transforms community members into Citizen Speakers, matching them with professional Wordsmiths. Together they create a series of first political speeches, presented just once, in a place redolent of power. These speeches are interspersed with movement, creating a powerful and urgent portrait of people and place.

CONGRESS will make its international debut in the magnificent Salisbury Cathedral presented by Wiltshire Creative.

Stay tuned for more information.
