This month, parents will be registering their children for their music classes and have the opportunity to become a member of the EGR Music Boosters and support the music education programs we love. This support is critical for our music education programs. To become a member today, click here.
East Grand Rapids (EGR) Music Boosters is a non-profit organization comprised of parent volunteers who believe music education is an integral part of public education, providing intangible benefits that enrich the lives of all EGRPS students. Each year, the EGR Music Boosters support our music programs with over $25,000 of support for uniforms, accompaniment, awards, scholarship, band camp staff, clinicians, judges, and summer tuition assistance. To do that, we need support from our community - YOU!
If you have a child in any of EGR's band, orchestra, or choir classes, go to their concerts, or are interested in supporting music education, then congratulations and welcome, you are a music booster!
In addition to becoming a member, please consider volunteering and getting involved in the Boosters. Our first meeting of the year is Thursday, August 18 at 5:30pm in the High School Cafeteria.
