Sell-out Night at the Opera

Our fabulous Night at the Opera which takes place in June has already sold out! This fantastic event at our Fox Valley restaurant sold out within just a few days of tickets going on sale and those of you joining us are in for a real treat as we showcase some of the region’s talented performers singing our favourite opera classics.
The event will take place on Friday June 10th in the restaurant’s first floor event space. As well as a fabulous three course Italian dinner the programme will include some of the beautiful music from operas including Le Nozze di Figaro, Madame Butterfly, Don Giovanni, and Carmen.

Book now for our all-new Bottomless Lunch!

Bookings are open and tables are already getting snapped up for our first Ponti’s Italian Kitchen Bottomless Lunch in June. We are launching this fabulous new event to celebrate the Jubilee Bank Holiday Weekend; our special offer will run on June 2^nd and 3^rd. One course is £30 and two courses £40 with unlimited prosecco and Peroni. Sittings are 12pm-1:30pm and 1:30pm-3pm.

Toasting the Ponti's Papas for Father's Day

Sunday June 19^th is Father’s Day and we are celebrating by treating papa to a well-deserved pint of Peroni to toast all the special Dads out there. Our complimentary drink is free with any main course ordered from the a la carte menu.

Dish of the week

We are in Rome this week for our dish of the week and when in Rome the must-have starter according to our talented chef Maurizio is Porchetta, Rucola e Noci.

The delicious pork belly is slow roasted in the oven for twelve hours with chopped garlic, rosemary, sage and thyme creating a fabulous flavour as the fat slowly melts making for a beautiful, tender meat. Once the meat has cooled it is thinly sliced and served with a simple rocket and walnut salad adding a wonderful nutty flavour. We absolutely love this popular starter which can be found on our menu in both London and Sheffield – we hope you do too.

Wine of the week

The weather is definitely warming up now and what could be better on a warm, sunny day than a chilled glass of rose?

Pinot Grigio is Italy’s favourite grape – a native of northeast Italy and our wine of the week is the fabulous Pinot Grigio Blush, Fiorito Fruili. Rose wine is really being appreciated in its own right and this lovely wine has light and soft herbal tones with a slightly floral nose which is backed up by a firmness of flavour. A deliciously drinkable wine on a warm spring and summer day. We have our fingers crossed for that heatwave we have been promised!
