Pluriverse: a successful study session

After two years without, we are back at Study Sessions.

Last week we had the pleasure to gather 32 school student activists from around the world to discuss a priority topic for us: decolonisation of school curricula. The participants articulated their vision of oppression-free education and discussed innovative methods to deconstruct their national curricula to uncover inherent biases and traces of colonial past.

The event was organised with the support of the Youth Department of the Council of Europe

The outcomes of the Study Session will be out very soon. Keep you posted 👀

We are working on curricula for the 21st century

Decolonisation si not the only thing we want in school curricula. There is much mooore. This is why Adela, Anna, Naira, Patricia and Veikka - representatives from 5 of our Member Organisations - will be working hard on the topic of Curricula for the 21st century. In this Working Group we will identify together the subjects that need to be adapted to the current needs of students and we will bring our demands to EU and national policy-makers to influence our educational systems!

Let's talk about international mobility!

Through the project Erasmus in Schools we try to make it easier, for school students, to find and benefit from international mobility opportunities.

Contribute to the project with your knowledge and experience or share it with school students. You just need to fill in our short survey by the 11th of June.

We kicked off another project: Innovation station

Innovation Station is a new project led by us, in partnership with EuroClioEgina, the Hellenic Open University and Impossible Foundation. The pandemic left students and teachers with some dilemmas. Online education will keep being an option and as a response to that, our project aims towards the creation of a support system for both teachers and students to adapt to the digital challenges they are facing and will face with online education and learning.

Some weeks ago the partnership met in Brussels for the first time and laid the foundations of two years of cool cooperation.
