What's happening at the courses?

Dear <<First Name>> <<Last Name>>,

Wow - the Treasure Valley had some crazy weather during May!  Nobody expected a snow storm early in the month, then Memorial Day Weekend was very rainy.  The benefit of all that moisture is that the courses are in great shape, and everything is very green.  

As schools are out for the summer and the weather keeps getting nicer, expect the courses to remain very busy.  Remember you can make tee-times up to 7 days in advance!

COURSE CHANGES

In addition to regular maintenace at the courses, our maintenance crews have been working on some special projects. 

Quail Hollow changes:
1.  #17 - Blue Teeing area has been leveled to provide better teeing ground for players
2.  #16 - One fairway bunker has been filled in with grass seed
3.  #12 - Greenside bunker has been reduced in size
4.  #10 - Greenside bunker has been reduce in size

Warm Springs changes:
1.  #2 - Out of Bounds area has been tilled up and replanted with fescue.  The fescue is a drought tolerant grass to reduce water consumption in that area.  Additionally, the fescue should reduce the number of weeds.

IGA MEMBERSHIP/GHIN APP

Are you getting the most out of your Idaho Golf Association (IGA) membership by utilzing the USGA GHIN mobile app?  The GHIN app allows you to enter scores quickly and effectively; you can enter on a hole-by-hole basis and include stats for your round. Make sure that you have set-up your digital profile with the UGSA.
