               Summer Newsletter!!!!!

Good morning Credo family!! I hope this email finds each of you well and ready for all that summer has to offer. For me, summer means heat/hot. I am not a fan of heat as it takes a lot to cool off if you're outside. This made me think about plants, flowers and trees. They bend, stretch and seek the sun. Their roots must be deep in the soil so when there's lack of rain they can reach moisture from deep under themselves. We, as Christians, should also seek the Son. We need to bend, stretch and seek our Son all while being rooted deeply in His word. When we start to wilt or the world dries us out with all the negative things around us, we must be deep into the Word so we can still flourish in spite of our environment... Stay rooted family!!

Here's a tidbit from our sister Debbie Rush:

We had our Spring secuela for Credo not long ago. It’s like a big reunion that anyone who has ever been on a Credo weekend (and their families, kids included) are all invited to come together. Thanks to everyone who was able to come. There was food, music, communion, and testimonies. It was wonderful!

We’ll have another one as soon as possible, so I’m encouraging all of you to clear your calendar to get to it when it happens.

There’s this thing about community. My head and my heart both know that I’m a part of Credo even when I’m far away or haven’t seen you for a while. BUT … when I see you face-to-face, I know it’s true.  There’s a song that says, “I’m so glad I’m a part of the family of God…” And that’s the main thing.
We come from many different kinds of destruction and defeat. But GOD has changed it for real and forever. He chose to pour out His favor on us (damaged goods that we were) and heal us, invite us into the family, and help us spiritually prosper. He knows the sorrows and faults we each have floundered through. He knows our apprehensions, our fears, and our doubts. He also knows our possibilities and the good things He has for us if we will reach out to Him. He is ready to purify our hearts, re-train us, and tell us how to really leave the old world behind and jump with joy into His Kingdom.

One of the most beautiful things about Credo is when people come back. If you’ve been away for a while, all you gotta do is show up. I admit that I don’t always remember everyone’s names, but God does. And we’ve got joy, joy, joy when anyone and everyone gets together in the “family of God.”

I’m glad you’re part of Credo. I hope to see you soon. God loves you and so do I.

Be blessed family and have a wonderful summer!!
