Member Building Update

IMPORTANT – Sunday 12th June 10.00am for member briefing session (at club) outlining what has transpired and what is required of members in the month of June.
Tuesday 28th June is the evening that will determine if the Sorrento SLSC is to have a new facility.
This is the evening that the elected members of the City of Joondalup will vote to decide one of the following options:
1 – No new surf club
2 – New surf club (option 1)
3 – New surf club (option 2)
4 – New surf club (option 3) – Club preferred option.
Note: The clubs preferred option is Option 3.
On Tuesday 14th June at a council briefing session we will have the opportunity to present a deputation to council outlining the importance of a new facility and why option 3 is the club’s preference.
It is a request of the building committee that at both of these sessions we have 200 members attend in surf life saving and club colours sit in the public gallery to show support in numbers.

On Saturday 11th June the detailed business report should become available for public viewing.
This is where members will have the opportunity to view what we have been working on over the last 8 years and what the elected members will be voting on specifically.
The office will advise members immediately this document becomes public and where to view the documentation.
