There aren't a lot of other Finns around Nowhere. Maybe it's not a coincidence…
We tried to do some subtle greenwashing, by having recycled wristbands this year. But the company who prints them asked us to collect plastic bottles for it. We tried but, you know, LNT volunteers were busy with more important tasks, we couldn't do things by ourselves, then the deadline came... we failed to greenwash Norg again.

THE EXTRA USELESS SECTION

Badly explain your role at Nowhere:

Malfare lead: Sitting for hours in a hot dusty field hoping nothing happens.
Build project lead: Create shade area, to avoid heat stroke, while having one.
Geek Lead: Installing tech gear in an environment that kills tech gear
Volunteer metalead: Data entry
Finance lead: sit in an aircon cabin in the desert while asking for the wifi password
Comms lead: Writing messages about writing Facebook posts about emails
Director: Make sure we don't get sued. Deal with a lot of tantrums in the process.
Sanitation lead: shake a box with all your force to make sure people's shit don't interact
Welfare lead: Gift a vomit bucket in smiling
Artomobiles lead: Tell drivers of mobile art where not to park, speed or turn their music up or hit their own spotters but that they don't need a driving license on site.....
LNT lead: make people feel good about harming the environment
Power lead: Let people plug things in without anything catching fire by stopping everyone from plugging things in
Ticket lead: Set up the earliest discrimination between rich & poor participants of the event.
Comms ML: why didn't I know about this.
Site lead: Wait for something to break and so I can tell someone to fix it
Onboarding lead: do zoom meeting in the spring.
Demarcation: walk around with a wizard staff seeding little flags all over the place. waiting for the rain to see if any will grow into a big flag.
