Events in local sustainability this June
Farm days

Definitely summer now, so lots to do!

We meet at the Community Farm or the Community Orchard in Poundbury on
Sunday afternoons at around 2pm

and also on

Wednesday mornings at 10.30

We will continue planting things in the polytunnel, and will be getting plants into the outdoor raised beds, now that the rabbit fence is finished.  There is always weeding to be done.  And the grass continues to flourish, so we are trying to get on top of it, and using the cut vegetation to make our great compost!

The site is large and it is easy to socially distance.  Email us if you'd like to come along.

Railway Orchard
We will meet on
Saturday 4 June at 11am.

The brambles continue to grow, and the grass will need scything and the pond filling.  Bring shears, scythes, secateurs, loppers, or just come and enjoy the space, if it isn't raining....

Bring your broken items and see if our volunteers can fix them, and save them from landfill.  This month the Repair Cafe is on Sunday 26th June 10am – 12pm in the Borough Gardens, Dorchester.
