…and we’re with you! - Venture Beat

Gartner predicts that, by 2026, one in 4 people will be at least for an hour a day in the metaverse. Inevitably, huge business opportunities are connected to these predictions and some companies in the AI space are already starting to cater for them. Kore.ai is already working to create avatars that can interact with users, through its own innovative NLU approach.

That’s how many interactions Vodafone’s AI Assistant TOBi handles every day. To keep improving and updating TOBi, which is supposed to be able to help consumers with anything Vodafone-related, the company has had to train 100 conversation designers in over 20 countries. Through their journey, they have learned how to implement a structured workflow and, even more importantly, how to adapt TOBi to all local customs.

…but it isn’t everything! Okok, we’re not here to get all ethical and stuff, but it’s true. Even for businesses. Even when it comes to AI. It’s not all about cost saving and replacing humans with a bot. Turns out, businesses invest in AI for lots of different reasons and cost saving is just one of them.

Let’s all face our interfaces! - The Bot Whisperer

Conversation design is getting a lot of attention lately. And we couldn’t be happier! But there’s also a lot of chaos out there on what conversation designers exactly do, where they come from, and so on. Lucky for all the wanna-be bot whisperers we just launched a weekly series on LinkedIn. Follow us there and don’t miss next week’s one: I can assure you it’s good 😉
