"Canvas, Cocktails, Cookies, and Clothing" Offered at North Dakota Heritage Center & State Museum
BISMARCK, N.D. – A new art class, "Canvas, Cocktails, Cookies, and Clothing," is coming to the North Dakota Heritage Center & State Museum on Tuesday, June 28, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Join Kim Eslinger, working artist, instructor, and gallery and exhibits director for North Dakota’s Gateway to Science, for an evening of hands-on drawing and creation inspired by the "Fashion and Function: North Dakota Style" exhibit. The event will include a cash bar, and clothing-themed cookies will be available.
Participants can be a part of a casual class while creating a work of art to take home. All materials will be provided during the program. This program is supported in part by a grant from the North Dakota Council on the Arts, which receives funding from the state Legislature and the National Endowment for the Arts.
