PGOSA Board of Directors - Secretary Position Filled

A great big Thank You to Wendy Shaw who is stepping up to become Secretary, a position on the Board of Directors…..much appreciated!
You may know Wendy as one of the intrepid leaders of the Friday Social Hikers.

We still are looking for more members to serve on the Board and provide leadership, organization for our 900 members!  Give it some thought and reply to the Chronicle if you have some skills and or time to give to the organization!

Membership Registration  / Social Mornings

We will continue membership registration and social coffee/tea,  weather permitting, at the picnic shelter in the Parksville Community park every Friday morning – 9:30 to 11:30 am.

Friday slo-pitch players who play the first game are welcome to drop by and have a coffee after your game wraps up.

PGOSA membership is available as well as a knowledgeable person regarding our activities and events, so if you have questions regarding participation drop by and chat with the representative – they will point you in the direction you need to go to get involved.

Too many of our members are “arm chair participants” who enjoy reading the Chronicle but they should be actively involved in an activity!
See you for coffee on Fridays if it isn’t raining!

We are saddened to announce the passing of long time PGOSA member Denny Bohmer.  We extend our sincere condolences to Denny's wife, extended family, and friends.

Tragically, Denny had a massive brain bleed earlier in May and died instantly.  Susan has asked that we help pass on the news to Denny's PGOSA family.
