Even here,
even now,
whatever swirls
and whirls and howls,
there is potential
to breathe the breath
of the holy,
to feel the pulse of the sacred,
to step into the rhythm of life
where you find yourself,
as it is.

This week's shop update includes a replenishment of our new super sparkly, colorful Story Goddesses, Meditation Goddex, and Sacred Companions celebrating Pride!

Reminder: We are having a fundraising auction benefiting two non-profit organizations on June 10th in the Creative Spirit Circle facebook group. You are welcome to contribute items, bid on items, or both! We have some special items planned and will be adding them to the event in advance so you can browse with time.

This week's resources!

Blog posts and resources:

What we are...

Reading:

  • Just Finished: Odd and the Frost Giants (listening with kids for literature section on Norse myths).
  • Just Starting: The Mapmaker Chronicles, book two (read aloud to kids)
  • Reading for advance review: Home to Her (forthcoming from Womancraft, pre-orders open next month).
  • Indistractible
  • Article about midlife as an opportunity for transcendence

Listening to:

Watching:

  • New season of Stranger Things
  • Obi-wan Kenobi TV show.

Working on:

  • New book! Still. And will be for a while!
  • New sculpture designs including ten inch goddesses! Yes, really! Super excited to share some sneak peeks of our progress soon.

Thinking about:

  • Scheduling 15 second videos for July's #30DaysofGoddess practice (yes, July! I actually manage to be about two months ahead now. :) )
  • Making more space for writing every day so I can actually finish my new book.
  • This quote: “ Our world continues to spin and, in our orbits, we face constant atrocity alongside great celebration. We brush up against death and deceit as well as delight and deep desire. I’m always amazed at the brutality of life that exists within the same breath as all of the beauty. How we manage is a feat that I can hardly comprehend. Sometimes we don’t. Sometimes all we can do is put down our effort and cry. In other moments, we rise up with every ounce of our energy to speak out, to create newness, to gasp for air and give our thanks for even one second of this magnificent experience that is life. What a whirlwind. Like all of us, I struggle to find my balance. Whenever I do, I make sure to really notice what peace feels like, to be wowed by the privilege of its presence.”--Jacqueline Suskin (newsletter: http://www.jacquelinesuskin.com/)

Looking forward to:

  • Summer reading program at the library with the two younger kids.
  • Having our oldest kid finally have a driver's license!
  • Going through The Spiral Dance book with a group!
  • Free sampler Art is Magic weekend art retreat coming up (I heard about this from Effy Wild, whose work I'm greatly enjoying lately).
May I remember
that I have the potential
to act with courage,
to dance with change,
and to move forward
with focus and intention.

Thank you so much for being here!

Much love,

Molly, Mark, + Family
