The 2021-22 school year finished out strong with a couple local soccer teams ending as State Runner-Up and a baseball team getting to the Final Four!

Jefferson finished its incredible season with an overtime loss against Marist in the state title game, and set their 2022 tone ‘From the Start’!

Commerce was dominant all the way through, finishing as Runner-Up after an OT loss against Social Circle in the title match! Still young, this team can repeat this level next year and the years to come.

BLITZ Cup Standings

At the end of the 2021-22 winter sports season, we give an updated look at the BLITZ Cup Standings. By the end of fall, Dawson County held an 18-point lead over Jefferson. Now, we have a new team at the top, and it’s neither of those schools.
