New Volunteering platform coming soon...

Get inVOLved Norfolk launch

We have some exciting news, we will be launching a new Volunteering Platform in Norfolk in July of this year. We are working with a new partner, Deedmob, to create our new volunteering portal, which will provide a user-friendly platform where you can search for volunteering opportunities.

The transition to the new Volunteering Platform will take place over the next two months and the new site will go live at the beginning of July. We will be sending out further information about how you can sign up to the new site over the coming weeks.

Volunteers' Week

June 1st - 7th

As every year, Volunteers' Week is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate all the incredible work volunteers do in their communities. We will be sharing thank you messages on our social media throughout the week, and organisations you volunteer with might also be organising their own events to thank volunteers.

You can also get involved in other ways. Every volunteer has a story to tell. Volunteers’ Week is a great chance to bring attention to the variety of volunteering opportunities that exist and the benefits volunteering has for individual and community health.

If you'd like to share your story, download the ‘I volunteer' sign from the official Volunteers' Week website and share on social media:

  • Why / how you started volunteering
  • What volunteering has given you
  • What advice you would give to people hesitant about volunteering

You can either take a picture of yourself with the sign and write about your volunteering experience in words, or you can make a short video telling your story.

When sharing, don’t forget to include the hashtag #VolunteersWeek and tag us, so that we can see your post and reshare it. You can find us on:
