Get Outdoors Day 2022 - TOMORROW!
The goal of Get Outdoors Day is to connect people to the great outdoor recreation opportunities that we have in the local Pikes Peak Region and to provide the opportunity to learn a new hobby, practice a new trade, or learn about opportunities to connect with and conserve our outdoor spaces. Bring the whole family to try things like kayaking, fly fishing, archery, mountain biking, and more, plus fun giveaways and prizes!
If you want to try kayak fly fishing or just get the family out to paddle for the day, our sister shop Pikes Peak Outfitter is now open for rentals! Book online or come in the shop to rent kayaks, canoes, stand-up paddleboards, and more, every day of the week!
The focus of this class is on refining techniques and honing line management skills when fishing dry flies. Topics include leader systems, basic entomology, trout tropisms, slack line casting, dead drift techniques, mending, and dry fly fishing strategies. This is a 2-part clinic starting on June 4th consisting of classroom instruction followed by an on-stream clinic. For more info and to register for the class, click the button below.
