Farm News

The Farm Stand is OPENING!!! WE will have enough veggies to go ahead and open up sales this Friday June 3.  We will open 3- 6pm.  The online store is up and running as well.  You can pre-order online by Thursday night  and we will have a packed box with your order ready for pickup.

For sales at the table, we prefer credit card but will have the cash register available for cash or checks.  We are not requiring masks but please ask that customers be considerate, allow 6 feet of space between, and continue to not touch produce on the tables.  Please park on the grass on either side of the driveway.  If you need assistance or require handicap parking, please drive to the top of hill and park next to the barn.

The greens have been loving the cool wet weather and are in abundance!  The farm crew has been patiently planting when we get breaks in the rain and I believe we are getting back on track.  It will still be some time before we see any root crops like carrots or beets for sale but for now, it's time for greens!

The big hoophouse got a new roof last week and we've been busy getting a new trellis system installed to support both tomatoes and cucumbers.  The lettuce you see was intended for the field but worked out great in the house while it was uncovered.  If all goes well, it looks to be an amazing year for cucs and tomatoes!
