Mission Statement:
Florida Swim School teaches the life-saving skill of swimming in a safe environment, using a nurturing method that builds confidence.

It's our 7th Anniversary on Rogers Circle!
Thank you for being part of our swimming family and trusting us to teach your family about swimming and water safety.  





It's a pizza party! Skills demonstration on Saturday June 25 at 1:00 Parents will be invited on deck to take pictures and video of their children demonstrating the skills they are learning!



  
Summer is the season of swimming as a family!  
Parents and Caregivers need to learn to swim too!  
Practice swimming together! 
For quicker progress in the pool, schedule classes more often.  
We do not have a required minimum, but the more often you attend,
the skills are met sooner.

Tip of the Month: Touch Supervision
You should be able to reach your child in the pool at all times.
Children demonstrating continuous independent swimming should be
watched at all times in and around water.
Accidents happen...be prepared and safer.

Skill of the Month
Age 2 and younger - Reaching
Starfish - Paddles - using arms to move through the water
Seahorse/Dolphin 1 - Paddle with eyes down AND on the back
Dolphin 2/Sharks - Arm movement for all strokes
This skill promotes efficient swimming for forward propulsion

Drowning is Preventable 

Drowning is the leading cause of accidental death in children ages 4 and younger.
Drowning is the second cause of accidental death in children ages 14 and younger.
Reduce the statistics by enrolling in swim lessons.
88% of child drownings occur with at least 1 adult present.

Absences must be made on your family portal at least one hour prior to class
and can be recorded up to 90 days in advance.  
Make ups expire after 90 days and are also scheduled on your portal.
Please understand that make ups are a courtesy and not guaranteed.  
We have a wait list on many days, so make ups may not be available.
