Fellowship & Alumni Coordinator | Drive Change NYC

Drive Change works with young people ages 18-25 in a 4-month paid fellowship program. The fellowship provides training to build work skills and professional habits. The program also provides personal development opportunities. They are looking for a fellowship and alumni coordinator with case management experience to work with re-entering young adults in workforce development, job placement, and alumni support.

Communications and Digital Director | City Council Office of Jennifer Gutierrez

Due June 30, 2022
The Communications and Digital Director will be responsible for communication to constituents and press for the Council Member. The Communications Director manages the Council Member’s proactive media presence, including articles, social media, and earned media to advance improvements to District 34 and New York City. Other responsibilities include: Monitoring local, state, and national news, and update Council Member and office staff on developments related to district issues and key office priorities; Creating processes to ensure effective communication to constituents, advocacy groups, and other stakeholders; and Ensuring language access on platforms and at events. The posted salary is $60,000.

Organizer/Pilot Group Liaison for Labor Unions | The Air Line Pilots Association, International

The Air Line Pilots Association, International (ALPA), the largest airline pilot union in the world and the largest non-governmental aviation safety organization in the world (representing over 64,000 pilots at 39 U.S. and Canadian airlines) seeks an experienced Organizer/Pilot Group Liaison for the Tysons (McLean), Virginia office. As an integral part of the Representation team, the Organizer/Pilot Group Liaison serves as the primary contact within the Association for pilots interested in organizing their pilot group to be represented by ALPA. They manage and maintain contact with interested pilots and pilot groups and provide information concerning these contacts with the Association.

Senior Advisor, Save for College | NYC Mayor's Office for Economic Opportunity

Due August 4, 2022
The Senior Advisor will work with City agency partners to support and coordinate the design, implementation, program management, evaluation for multiple initiatives and projects. They will lead and manage a portfolio of programs, including the Save for College expansion, as well as a portfolio of new and existing initiatives, special projects, and evaluations across a range of issue areas affecting low-income New Yorkers.

Senior Advisor | NYC Mayor's Office for Economic Opportunity 

Due August 10, 2022
The Senior Advisor will coordinate the design, implementation, program management, performance management, evaluation, and related policy initiatives for multiple initiatives and projects, as well as assist with key communications efforts. They will lead and manage a portfolio of new and existing initiatives, special projects, and evaluations across a range of issue areas affecting low-income New Yorkers, generated by NYC Opportunity and YMI.

Director of Community Engagement | Brooklyn Museum

The Brooklyn Museum seeks a passionate and innovative Director of Community Engagement (DCE) who will develop partnerships with social justice organizations to deepen our connections to both local communities and national issues. The successful DCE is a strategic thinker, dynamic community liaison, and collaborative organizer who advocates for the Museum, the communities it serves, and its social action initiatives. Three or more years of experience in community relations and/or organizing work; experience around issues of climate change and mass criminalization (i.e., criminal justice, migration/immigration) preferred
