Public Domain Awesomeness

Hello lovelies, thanks for being a part of my “One Thing” community. This week, I thought we’d look at what the public domain has to offer. There are many public domain collections on Flickr but today let’s look at the British Library’s albums. Public domain images means you can create works from it and sell it!

I love the Valentine's Day, Book Covers, Ships and Boats, Castles, Advertisements and Cycling albums - to name but a few! Go get creative and make something great!

The release of these collections into the public domain represent the Library's desire to improve knowledge of and about them, to enable novel and unexpected ways of using them, and to begin working with researchers to explore and interpret large scale digital collections.”
