If anybody wants to understand what is happening to the public square in America—indeed, if anyone wants to know how America, or at least her ruling class, wishes to understand itself, they need look no further than Pride Month. If the arrival of the Pilgrims, the founding of the nation, and even the contribution of Martin Luther King Jr. receive no more than 24 hours on the national calendar, the LGBTQ+ alliance has an entire month to party in the streets. And this street party is enabled by the countless commercial ventures that post rainbow flags in their windows and on their websites.

On June 7, EPPC Fellow Andrew T. Walker will appear on an online panel hosted by the Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission of the Southern Baptist Convention: Discipling Your Church for a World in Sexual Crisis. The panelists will discuss how to preach and teach a biblical view of sexual ethics, how to equip parents to disipline their children and navigate the challenges of the sexual revolution, how to prepare your church to stand firm on God's good design for human sexuality, and how to minister to LGBTQ+ friends and family members.

On June 14, EPPC President Ryan T. Anderson will moderate a panel at the Heritage Foundation: The Effect of Access to Puberty Blockers and Cross-Sex Hormones on Youth Suicide Rates. The expert panel will explore a new study that found that easing minors’ access to cross-sex medical interventions is associated with a significant increase in the adolescent suicide rate.
