Volunteer Opportunities
Our most urgent and immediate volunteer need is assisting with our community meals delivery program. At Refettorio San Francisco we produce over 1,500 meals per week. These meals are sent to shelters, SROs, and community organizations serving homeless and food insecure San Franciscans. And all of these delicious meals are delivered through volunteer power!

This Spring we launched Family Dinners at Refettorio. These dinners are designed to provide a safe and caring space for families to gather. Dinners include three plated courses and family programming. We have taken a brief hiatus from this program through the current COVID surge, but will be re-starting later this month. Volunteers are vital to executing this weekly dinner service! Volunteer roles include childcare, hosting & greeting, serving, clean up, and kitchen prep. Dinners are every Wednesday at 5pm, with volunteer orientation for new volunteers weekly at 3:30pm.
