Thank you to all who made our Pentecost service and brunch a most wonderful time for all! Our talented Flower Guild, headed by Melinda Rader, did an outstanding job sprucing up the plants on the patio and arranging a vibrant red floral display for the altar while placing individual nosegays along the aisle. Hats off to Gail Haghjoo, chair of our Fellowship Commission, and all those who helped prepare and served our delicious brunch. We are blessed in so many ways with such a generous and loving community.

St. Mike’s has returned to offering communion in both kinds.
Wherever you are on your spiritual journey you are welcome to come forward to receive the consecrated wine and wafers. Wine will be served by our chalice bearers from the common cup. In keeping with the pandemic safety guidelines from our bishop, the communicant may drink from the chalice or, in the alternative, the priest will dip the wafer into the wine and place it directly on the communicant’s tongue. If you prefer not to have wine, simply cross your arms over your chest after receiving the wafer.
Adult Christian Education and Small Groups Enrich your spiritual life, learn something new, pitch in to help others, and connect with friends new and old by joining one or more of our small groups.

A Prayer for our Rector Search
Almighty God, giver of every good gift, grant us the guidance of your Holy Spirit as we seek a new Rector for Saint Michael and All Angels. Bless us with patience, courage, and foresight as you shepherd our parish family on this journey. Give us an open spirit, discerning hearts and clear minds, that we may trust your will for us. Raise up for us, we pray, a rector who will boldly proclaim your Gospel, faithfully administer your sacraments, and serve your people with love and compassion; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
COVID UPDATE as of February 15, 2022:
All worshipers who are fully vaccinated are no longer required to wear masks at indoor gatherings. However, if you are not vaccinated, please wear a mask as required by the state COVID guidelines. Masks are available at the entrance to the church. Thank you all for your help in keeping our church a safe place for those most vulnerable.
Share Your Joy
Through Flowers
We have a tradition of offering flowers at the altar on most Sundays. Members of the congregation sponsor altar flowers, chapel flowers, and the sanctuary light in thanksgiving for all the blessings of this life or in memory of loved ones.
Send your news items to the The Rev. Susan Pinkerton and Wayne Hastings. The deadline for inclusion is noon on Tuesday for that week's St. Mike's Messenger.
