Thank you for your hard work, dedication and resilience in the last 3 years. You have undeniably helped this program set a new bar for Cleveland HS and the entire district. You can be very proud of the legacy you are leaving.

Urgent-Uniform Washing Help Needed
 
We have 150 uniforms to be washed before the end of the school year. Can you help? We are looking for 15 parents to take 10 uniforms each for machine washing. (Washing instructions and tips will be provided).
 
Mr. Riler will have them available for pick up June 6–10 during the school day and they need to be returned to the band room by June 14 @ 3:00 pm. If you can help, please inform Heather Randol at hmsrandol@hotmail.com and stop by the school any time during the school day June 6–10 to pick up 10 uniforms. Questions? email hmsrandol@hotmail.com.

Summer Band Camps
 
Is your musician planning on attending a band camp this summer? Attached is a list of  popular camps that are strongly recommended by Mr. Riler's colleagues. View Summer Camps »

Do you need help paying for camp? Friends of Cleveland Bands is offering a limited amount of scholarships to attend summer band camps. Please contact FOCB treasurer Brian Richardson at treasurer@clevelandbandspdx.com.
Annual Band Car Wash

Watch for details for the Annual Cleveland Band Car Wash coming this August! This is a fun way for new and old band members to connect before school starts.
Back to School Mini Band Camp
 
Please mark your calendars for our Back to School Mini Band Camp. This is a great opportunity for the band to get acquainted and start working on pep band songs before school starts.

Here is the schedule:
Thursday, Aug 18: Leadership Meeting 9:00 am–12:00 pm
Thursday, Aug 18: Drumline Camp (all percussion) 9:00 am–12:00 pm
Monday, Aug 22: CHS Mini Camp (frosh/new) 9:00 am–12:00 pm 
Monday, Aug 22: Drumline Camp (all percussion) 9:00 am–12:00 pm 
Tuesday, Aug 23: CHS Mini Camp & Drumline (all band members) 9:00 am–12:00 pm
Annual Family Picnic & Potluck

New, current, and alumni families are invited to attend this event on Thursday, August 25 at Sellwood Park starting at 6:00 pm. Stay tuned for details!
