Join us on Wednesday June 8 for CHISU's Webinar: Digital Decisions Made for the COVID-19 Response: Reflections and Lessons.
When the COVID-19 pandemic swept the globe in early 2020, countries had to react quickly to be able to provide ways to track cases, testing, and results, and use this data to make decisions. With the arrival of COVID-19 vaccines, health systems needed to add ways to track vaccination status in their populations as well as track additional commodities associated with both testing and immunization. Throughout the crisis, critical decisions about data governance, data sharing, data security, and data use also needed to be made.
This webinar will discuss the varying approaches that countries took to respond to these challenges and the implications for their health information system at the time, and at present.
