Oxford Climate Journalism Network
Weekly roundup and update - 22 June, 2022

Hello,

Hope you are all doing well. I reeeeally enjoyed yesterday's session with Dr Anthony Feinstein. Thank you for sharing such personal feelings and experiences. I am very grateful for the space of trust this group has managed to build over the past six months.

If you did not attend the session yesterday, you can watch the recording here (the first five minutes are lost due to an error on my side).

Here's what coming:

THE WEEK AHEAD

🔥 A wrap up fireside chat. Six months after our seminars began, we want to host a wrap up fireside chat to talk about your experience at the Oxford Climate Journalism Network, what comes now for you and where to take it from here. Join on Tuesday, June 28t at 13:00 UK |  Join the event here

WHAT'S HAPPENING ON CIRCLE?

  • If you wish to attend COP27, here is a great opportunity. The Earth Journalism Network is looking for applications for its COP fellowship. Fermín is usually a trainer there, and past attendees (that I know of) include Mukesh and Baktygul. Deadline on July 4 | Find out more here
  • The Thompson Reuters Foundation opened applications for a course on locally-led adaptation. It is aimed at multimedia reporters from developing countries, with some nationalities given priority. Please apply (even if you are not from the preferred group). Deadline on July 17 | Find out more here
  • The recording of Katherine's corporate greenwashing session is already on Circle | Check it out here
  • Our recording of Adrián's workshop unfortunately failed (we are so sorry about this), but Katherine did a very good recap of his main points | You can find it here
