Happy Pride!! We hope you're having an amazing month full of joy, reflection, and community. With the coming summer, we've seen a slow return to the stage and we are so happy to announce our first production back: "Between the Sheets", which goes up in August. More below. But first! To help us get back on stage and navigate what it means to do theatre right now, we need your help!

It has always been expensive to do theatre in San Francisco, and now it's even more expensive! Ticket sales only cover 40% of our annual budget, so we rely on our community to help support us so that we can keep bringing you the theatre that you love to see. For a little peak behind the curtain, our budget breaks down like this:
40% - Theatre/Rehearsal Space Rental
25% - Production Staff (actors, directors, writers, crew, designers, etc.)
15% - Production Materials (sets, props, costumes, etc.)
20% - Admin/Marketing/Overhead
It's probably no surprise that so much of our budget goes towards space rental - space has always been expensive in SF. Your support helps us make sure that we can get inside the building and put the show on!
What may be surprising is how little of our budget goes to our artists. And we agree! We hope to raise our stipends by 20% annually until we can offer competitive rates. We want to support our artists, but we can't do that without your help! This Pride Month, please consider donating to your favorite scrappy little LGBTQ+ theatre company.

We return to the stage with "Between the Sheets"!

Wondering where your donations will go? Why, to our triumphant return to the stage, of course! This August, we return to The Exit with our first full production back - "Between the Sheets." This is an anthology of original works about the trials and tribulations of queer sex. How hard do you have to work to bag that daddy? Is it always going to be this awkward to talk about sex with your grandma, even when she's a liberal lesbian?
