Farm News

We Are Open!!   I know it's tough with te road closures but we sure appreciate everyone who made it out last Friday.  I promise it won't rain this week!  We will  be open Friday, 3- 6pm.  The online store is up and running as well.  You can pre-order online by Thursday night  and we will have a packed box with your order ready for pickup on Friday afternoon.

For sales at the table, we prefer credit card but will have the cash register available for cash or checks.  We are not requiring masks but please ask that customers be considerate, allow 6 feet of space between, and continue to not touch produce on the tables.  Please park on the grass on either side of the driveway.  If you need assistance or require handicap parking, please drive to the top of hill and park next to the barn.

Farm Access:

There are multiple construction projects in and around WSU Pullman Campus!!  It is going to be a challenge to get to the farm.  The latest project will close Terre View Rd. (our main access point to Animal Science Rd.) from Highway 270 to Airport Road.  They are telling us to plan on four weeks to repave.
Also, Fairway Drive on the north side of campus is closed as well as Stadium Way on the south entrance into campus.  I'm providing a link to Google Maps that shows the best route through campus.  You will need to come on Animal Science Rd from the west.  This is a narrow farm road.  Please drive slow and be mindful of other users.

The pumpkins are in!  We had to make a big push last Thursday and brought in most of the crew to get this last big transplanting in on time.  The pumpkins looks great and we've got more of everyone's favorites this year.  It's fun to think about fall harvest but these babies have a ways to go.

It Garrett got the hoophouses and greenhouse painted today with special greenhouse paint to reduce inside temperatures.  We are loving our new battery powered sprayer.  The idea is to put up a white reflective coating on the these surfaces during the hottest months to reduce heat stress for the tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, and basil.

See you at the farm...

- Brad
