Dramacube Movie Making & Musical Theatre Workshops For Young People aged 7 to 14!
For the Movie Making - Guided by experienced drama and technical tutors the young people get hands-on experience as together they script, direct, shoot, and act in their own movie, in just three days! Fun and dynamic sessions include getting hands-on with cameras, lighting, sound and other production techniques that help them discover the skills necessary for successfully making a short film.
There is also a fantastic Musical TheatreSummer Holiday Workshop Inspired by Disney's magical musical adventure 'Encanto', the young people spend the three days in fun and dynamic sessions, acting, singing and dancing as part of the workshop group, and guided by experienced drama and music tutors.
We encourage the young people to work together, gain confidence and have fun while learning new ideas and the principles of musical theatre. They finish day three with a performance on stage celebrating what they've learned! No experience is necessary!
York Sport’s super fun multi-sport camps are back for the Summer packed full of great activities and only £25 per day!
Keeping your children active and engaged through the holiday period, they will take part in a whole variety of sports and games including dodgeball, tennis, football, netball, hockey, volleyball, fencing, basketball, athletics, badminton and table tennis to name just a few!
With so many great options on offer, there will be something for everyone! All our sessions are fun and casual. While there is a sprinkling of light-hearted competition, our camps are for all abilities and to be enjoyed by all.
To spark your child’s creativity, alongside our great selection of sports we will also be running a range of arts and crafts activities.

During the holidays, rain or shine, The Little Gym camps combine fun, sport, creative activities and learning to keep your kids active, entertained and laughing. All while carefully developing their minds, bodies and self-confidence. Children love them!
** Ofsted registered camps - full or half days (ages 5 – 12) and half days for ages 3-4.
** Flexible drop-off times from 8.30am - we’ve made things super convenient for you to fit in drop-off around the working day.
Flying Ducks Holiday Camps are a great way to entertain the kids this summer. We will be running holiday camps that are a mix of trampolining and gymnastics as well as games with prizes for the winners! This event is open to both members and non-members of all abilities and will be suitable for ages 5+.
Dates: Tuesday 26th July, Monday 8th August & Tuesday 9th August
Time: 9:30am - 3pm, early drop off (from 9am) / late pick up (until 3:30pm) can be facilitated for an additional cost.
Cost: £30 per child + £3 if early drop off / late pick up is required.

Manor Church of England Academy
Our Mini Athletics holiday camp develops children’s knowledge and skills in a range of different athletics events through game-based activities.
Open to children in Reception, Year 1, Year 2 and Year 3 (4-year-old children starting school in September can also attend)
£15 per child per day. All children will receive a healthy breakfast and packed lunch.
FREE PLACES for children in receipt of benefits related free school meals through the Government’s Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme.
Kings Camps - Sports and activity camps for 5-17s at Millthorpe School
We take the best sports and the most awesome active games to create our Multi Active Programme for 5-14s. It’s designed to develop core skills including; teamwork, agility, strength, communication and confidence. Children are grouped by age to enjoy a timetable designed to turn up the fun whilst giving children the chance to learn new skills, make friends and build confidence! From 15, teens attending the Rookie Academy work and play alongside our Red Tops. Rookies enjoy activities, develop leadership skills, improve confidence levels and often progress to work as part of our team. The programme links practical experience and activities with theory. Rookies develop confidence and leadership skills such as planning, organisation, self-reflection and problem solving. Great facilities at Millthorpe School include the sports hall, main hall and fantastic outdoor facilities making the school a fantastic location for our active sports and activity camps.

Join PQA’s team of industry professionals as we explore, cast, rehearse and perform the fabulous hit musical MOANA JR. Our creative team will lead sessions in singing, dance and drama as we prepare the show for performance on the last day. This is your chance to appear in our very own version of this amazing show and we’re sure it’ll be an experience you won’t forget!
Every student will receive five days of professional industry tuition and the opportunity to rehearse and perform in the show, as well as a free MOANA JR PQA Summer School t-shirt.

Razzamataz Theatre School York Summer School
A SHOW IN A WEEK
During the academy, we will be producing a Mini Musical based on the musical film Encanto. Students will have the opportunity to explore commercial, musical theatre styles of dance and Pop singing. The five days will also be jam-packed with crafts, props, set design and much more! All in a safe and secure environment with fully DBS checked teachers. The week will finish with a short presentation for friends and family.
We also offer an early drop off 9-10am for £4.50/hour and a 20% sibling discount on your second child's fees.
Creative Coliseum is back in York this Summer at St Peter’s School!
Join us for our Summer workshops - Each day consists of a uniquely themed workshop with a focus on acting, movement and storytelling, combined with games, crafts and play.
We aim to provide kids with a platform to explore the acting and the theatrical world; whether that is speaking in front of a group, embracing teamwork or crafting costumes, props and sets in a fun and age-friendly way.
Our workshops are designed to nurture creativity, collaboration and confidence on and off stage.
Run by professional actors and qualified teachers.
We welcome all imaginations from beginners to entertainers.
