Annual salary £33,058.92 + benefits 32hrs per week (£36,158.19 FTE)

Who are we looking for?
A purchase ledger supervisor responsible for the purchase ledger function and the non-rental debtors for the organisation alongside managing, supporting and developing one member of the team.
Working with the Finance Assistant logging invoices and understanding the importance of coding and where it maps to our service charges and management accounts.  Effectively responding to supplier and customer queries and providing monthly aged reports and reconciliations to the Finance Manager.  A sound knowledge of purchase ledger function, double entry bookkeeping and service charges preferable.
 
A Self-motivated, resilient, flexible and diligent individual with a strong attention to detail and good interpersonal and communication skills is imperative. 
The post holder will be required to be in the office twice a week, with 3 days working from home. 
Experience of at least one year in a supervisor role would be preferable.

Chequers Employability Scheme are looking for candidates who are keen to get back into employability and are offering accredited training for cleaning and grounds maintenance. 
 
Cleaning offers BICS training and grounds a LANTRA accredited course on basic tool use for hedge cutters, mowers, strimmers specifically for grounds work. 
 
The courses are led by qualified trainers which, following successful completion, gives a great stepping stone for a CV. 
 
Chequers also offer an interview to all candidates who have successfully participated in the course with the potential of a job offer if successful.  The jobs on offer range from anything between 1 hr a week to 40 hrs a week. Additionally, due to the current climate, working flexibility is also provided.
