Summer Sermon Series This Sunday, June 26th we will move to one service at 10:00 am (in person and online), from now until September. This summer’s sermon series will be based on Jesus’ “Sermon on the Mount” in Matthew chapters 5 to 7.
Baptism We will be having a baptism this Sunday June 26th. Please join us as we celebrate with Titilope Jubreel and Natalie Baxter!
Ladies Dessert Potluck We hope you will join us for the Ladies Dessert Potluck tonight, Thursday, June 23rd from 6:30 to 8:00 pm at Rivercross Church. We have a good number registered, but if you have not been able to register, please come anyway This informal evening will be an opportunity to visit and re-connect with friends, and to meet some new ones. Please bring sweets or a fruit tray, as large or small as you like; your favourite recipe/from your favourite bakery. Small portions will allow everyone to sample more things! If you have a dietary restriction, please bring something you can enjoy. Coffee, tea, and punch will be provided.
RiverCross Mission The Mission is closed June 28th and 30th, but will be open on Tuesdays in July (the 5th, 12th, 19th, and 26th). Drop-in coffee and a light breakfast will begin at 9:30 am and lunch will be served at noon. The Mission will be closed in August for work on the building. Please join the RiverCross Mission Facebook group for updates and information on summer outings and barbecues.
Red Cross Babysitting Course On July 5th we will be hosting a Red Cross Babysitting Course from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm at RiverCross Church! This course is open to anyone who is 11 years old or older and will be offered at a reduced fee of $40 per person. Please register here so that we have an accurate number!
Family Worship Service We will be holding a family worship service specifically designed for your whole family on the Tuesday evening following the July and August long weekends. We hope you will join us on July 5th and August 2nd here at RiverCross Church at 6:00pm! No need to register, just come as you are!
Our first RiverKids summer camp is less than 3 weeks away. If you wish to help with decorating or want to be part of the camp experience for our children, contact Amy Baxter. We could use some dynamic, energetic individuals to put on skits, older youth or young adults to lead crews of up to 5 children, and friendly faces who can help with registration. If you have children, grandchildren or friends who are between the ages of 5 and 12 click here to register them to attend this very fun and awesome camp! Or call Amy at the church at 642-8060 ext. 9.
