"When my kids become wild and unruly, I use a nice safe playpen. When they’re finished, I climb out.”
~ Erma Bombeck
Dear me, deciding what to keep at the end of the school year is rough.
You don't want to thwart your budding artist, scientist, or mechanic . . . but you can't keep all the stuff that comes home at the end of the school year.
It helps to remember that,
"If everything is special then nothing is special."
Pick a day soon after the end of the school year to go through the stuff before you put it away!!
Pick out the nuggets to save. Bring your child into this process.
Use the suggestions in this week's printable to give these memories a place of honour. Your child will feel special too.
(Whether you have children or not, you can use these ideas to apply to any memories you want to preserve.)
Let's continue this organizing journey together.
Have a good week,
Cathy
