Dear <<First Name>>,

I pray you're doing well.

Father’s Day is this Sunday, June 19. It is a day of celebration and gratefulness for those who have been a father to us. For some, this is a difficult day. It is a reminder of abuse, indifference or loss. I am grateful for those in the church who have taken a father role in encouragement and counsel.

In the past few years, we have given out candy to men in the congregation. This year we are giving out snow cones to everyone! A Kona Ice truck will be outside the front doors from 11-12 p.m. Adults, Youth and Children get one free snow cone. If you were planning on wearing white clothing this Sunday, you might want to rethink that.

The last couple of years have been chaotic, and I think it’s important to focus on what doesn’t change. That's really what the heart of this sermon series, Maintaining Balance, is all about. This Sunday, we'll take a look at  Psalm 46 and Matthew 11:28-30.

“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear…” Psalm 46:1-2

I hope to see you this Sunday, hopefully in-person or online.
Pastor John is on vacation for the next three weeks. Most days, I think he can be found on doing prayer walk through area golf courses.

See you Sunday,
Pastor Cindy
