Nonprofit Finance Fund Survey
The Nonprofit Finance Fund (NFF) recently released results from its 2022 State of the Nonprofit Sector Survey. The survey found that 79% of nonprofits experienced an increase in demand for their services in 2021 and that 51% of nonprofits were unable to meet demands for their services. VIEW RESULTS

Philanthropy and COVID-19: Examining Two Years of Giving
This report explores how donors responded in the second year of the global pandemic with a look at how U.S. foundations gave in 2021 compared to 2020. Findings show that overall grantmaking by survey respondents increased by 11% (unadjusted for inflation), but funding specifically for COVID-19 declined by 31%. READ REPORT.

Tools Available for Accessing ARPA Funds
States and local governments should be receiving another round of Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds in the next few weeks. The recently updated Special Report, Strengthening State and Local Economies in Partnership with Nonprofits, provides the latest federal guidance and fresh examples from across the country, plus insights gleaned from effective nonprofit advocacy campaigns and examples of how foundations can support the equitable distribution of ARPA funds.
