Protecting the rights of child refugees from Ukraine

The war unleashed by Russia has destroyed peaceful living in Ukraine. In the spring of 2022, European countries received millions of refugees – primarily women and children – from Ukraine. Children are a special group that require special protection in the conditions of mass migration. For several years, ADC Memorial ran the #CrossborderChildhood campaign to protect the rights of migrant children; now a new stage of this campaign – #CrossborderChildhoodUA – is being launched. The campaign’s goal is to achieve implementation of UN Committee on the Rights of the Child standards concerning the treatment of children in migration in relation to children from Ukraine.
