NH Family Planning Contracts Update!
We wanted to share some information that we learned about the NH Family Planning Contracts. PPNNE got an email this week about contracts being due on 6/22, but it appears they were the only vendor to get this email. There is no RFP out (and there is a new website). From what we understand, these will be just for the FY 23 year, and then we’ll go back to being on track with the state budget of every two years. Our understanding is that the 6/22 isn’t set in stone, as these contracts don’t have to be up at the next G&C meeting (which isn’t publicly listed yet but are going to be 7/12, a Tuesday), but instead could go on the 7/27 or the August meeting. However, DHHS and G&C do want all ten (or however many apply) at once, and then they will be separated out from there. We are not sure how other Councilors will be reacting to these contracts yet. The bottom line from PPNNE is: NH family planning contracts are coming soon, and we will have at least two weeks to complete them, not two days.
